Jude and I drove down late Thursday night (8/1) and spent Friday through Monday crossing over to Boquillas for breakfast, hiking the national park and exploring the areas around our property. One cool thing is we saw a herd of 20 Aoudad crossing over the mesas behind our building. A quick rain deluge on Sunday tested the 4runner 4WD and kept us from a late morning departure. By 2:00 the bentonite clay was mostly dried out. Another great trip. Next trip I will try to get some work done!
