Our toilet is located about 100 meters from our building over a ridge for privacy. Each visit we dig a new hole and add coconut coir or sawdust to the hole with each use. It never smells and to be honest its one of the nicest bathroom views I’ve ever seen. Our longterm plans include a septic system but it won’t fully replace “outdoor” facilities.
